Temple Run 2

The paradigm-shifting mobile game, Temple Run, has come out with a sequel that is going to rock the world! Temple Run 2 is Imangi Studios’ revamp of the famous running game has you continuously running through a bunch of different obstacles trying to get the highest score that you possibly can before you die.

And, yes, you will die. But, you get to come back again and again to score more and more points.

If you liked the first Temple Run, then you’ll really love this one. If you haven’t played the first version, then don’t. Go straight for the sequel. There’s no actual storyline, so you don’t need to worry about missing any great plot or character developments. Just keep running!

Jump or slide if need be, but stay alive. There are some coins you can collect as you run around. You can use these coins in the store to buy upgrades to enhance your gameplay. These coins also increase your shield and give you protection from much of the obstacles in the game.

You can still fall off the track and die, though, even with a full shield. There’s a cool cart in this game as well. Maybe there was a cart in the first one and I just never made it that far, but the cart in this game is awesome.

You’ve still got to jump and duck obstacles, but you have an accelerometer to curve around bends by tilting your phone. If you tilt it all the way, you’ll fall off, so be careful! Instead of having monkeys chase you like last time, there’s a giant ape that will come after you if you turn too early and bump into the sides.
