The game offers you to join Kelly, a city gal who has decided to abandon the concrete jungle for life on a budding farm, and let her share her success and popularity with you. It all starts when Kelly inherits her family estate and she needs to manage her grandparents’ nursery and carry on her family's traditions. Your common main goal in Kelly Green: Garden Queen is to plant flowers, look after cattle and sell the crop and bouquets to customers. At the beginning of each level you can purchase all the necessary stuff like flower seeds, decorations for bouquets (cards, ribbons, hearts, etc.), new or better equipment (sprinklers, a bigger greenhouse, a better well, etc.) and lemonade to use as a treat to customers who's been waiting too long. You can do it while playing a level, too.
The game has only one mode of play. Every day you receive orders from customers who either come to your farm by foot or call you by phone. The telephone always seems to ring wildly at the most inopportune moment but nervous people do not prefer time management games, do they?

Having received an order, you need to prepare flower pots, fill them with ground, sow appropriate seeds, water and protect them. When all the requested bouquet components are ready you can arrange them into a beautiful bouquet. Of course, the more you do for your clients yourself, the more tips you'll get. Such option as auto won't provide you with bonuses. Watch how your client's face changes to see whether he likes your work or not. Some plants can be grown in the greenhouse only and some need to be replanted outside so you have to pay attention and think ahead.

You start the game by handling all the tasks yourself. As you progress, your orders increase and then Kelly's brother Neil comes to the aid. Later his wife and Grace will join you, too. Unlike most time management games, no one has a specific job. Each can do everything from watering plants to calling customers.

On the whole, Kelly Green: Garden Queen has enough farming activities to keep you entertained and busy. It’s one of the most remarkable time management games that can eclipse its rivals.
