Women's Murder Club: Death in
Scarlet - Detective Adventure
Floodlight Games has developed and I-play has published a great hidden
object puzzler with a strong taste of criminal intrigues. Women's Murder Club: Death in Scarlet is a game where you get a
feeling of being more than just a hidden object gamer as you are
involved in all these detective things.
You are
going to solve a murder playing as three characters - Cindy Thomas, a news
reporter, Lindsey Boxer, a homicide detective, and Claire Washburn, a forensic
examiner.
The game is
created on the basis of the popular James Patterson novels and television
series. The characters of the game will be familiar to you if you read the
books. But don't be afraid to be disappointed with the fact that you know "the
end of the story", because the murder story won't be a one of the already
told ones.
The game
passes on this atmosphere of mystery, murder, twisted stories and intrigues. As
I said the characters will be familiar to you if you read the novels. Solving
the crime you are going to play as three characters - Cindy Thomas, a news
reporter, Lindsey Boxer, a homicide detective, and Claire Washburn, a forensic
examiner. Each one of those is very good at her job.
The game
features great productive values. The audio-visuals are very well done. You can
see how hard work resulted in a high-quality product. The story of the game is interesting
with new turning points and connections with general game play.
The game
features different types of tasks including seek-and-find puzzles and different
mini-games having to do with the murder you are solving.
The hidden
object levels are not innovative - you get a list of things to find in the
screen. You are not limited in time, so you don't get a penalty for random
clicking. You are given 5 clues in case you get stuck. You are also given
different tasks to accomplish in order to move on through the levels.
There are
also mini-games that you are to solve with the help of the items that you
gather into your inventory during the game. These games are fun but get a
little bit repetitive. Some of them are done only by certain characters
according to her kind of work. While the others are much more typical like
jigsaw puzzles or word games.
The game
does give a feeling of being a detective when you are to examine the victims
and to do other things like that. Even though the replay value is not that high
once you've solved the mystery, but the time spent on this is definitely worth
it.

Your opinion is just as valid. :) I myelsf am from those who could not stand living every day in the exact same way, or working with the same people for years and years unless it s the best job in the world, that is! I like to be surprised, and experience new things every day, learning as much as I can. However, everybody is different, and the exceptions are always there. Indeed, routine is not always bad; there is much to appreciate in the mundane, too. :3Thanks for commenting! |
