As a student going to shcool for AI programming (or gameplay programming; anything I can do to work at Insomniac ) I honestly would be very interested in hearing the Math and Physics for Game Programmers lecture. The suggestion I would have for that lecture is to just have someone that can explain 3d math and really the math that more important. Like should we place more emphasis on Liner Algebra, Discrete Math, Trigonometry, or Calculus. I understand that they are all important and I save all my programming books and math books but I want to understand things like: liner algebra would work better with AI Programing than trig would I know my example sucks but something along those lines than proceed to give an example why certain math and topics of phisics (gravity, light, etc.) would work for specific types of programming.Thats the best I got right now but I'll drop more suggestions as I would love to hear that lecture (I plan on being at GDC 2012). Other than that they all seem like fantastic lectures and I would go to all of them if I got the chance. Thanks for the read.-Robert Tyler Campbellaka PshycoNinja |
