Australia Zoo Quest - Save All Types Of Animals!
Welcome to Australia Zoo Quest! While the game offers no innovations in its traditional chaining game play, it has some value about it. The bright and vivacious graphics, as well as 3 difficulty levels and useful info, add to the reasons to try this title.
Want to know more about wild animals? Save them first!
Australia Zoo is a brand associated with Steve Irwin, the famous Crocodile Hunter, who, unfortunately and very tragically, passed away some time ago. The game is also associated with the person and is sort of a tribute to him. So, the story is mainly that you have to save animals in the Zoo from getting sick. Actually, that's all about it.
As to the game play, it doesn't change much during the game and represents just simple chaining in a grid with round animal images in it. You need to create chains of three or more in order to get the necessary number of points set as a goal for each of the 20 levels. The longer the chain - the more points you get for it, so try to match as many circles as possible.
Apart from the minimum points goal you have a Sick Timer ticking down. If you don't manage to destroy a chain before it ends, one of the animals in the field gets sick - and you won't get points from matching its tile. But there is a cure - you get it when you create a chain of 9 or more. If you choose one of the two upper levels of difficulty you'll get additional obstacles for not removing the sick tile at once, like disabled tiles and the disease spreading on neghbouring tiles. More challenge is added with the fact that the Sick Timer becomes faster and faster with each level. And once you have no possible moves, you lose one of your three lives and the board is reshuffled. Consequently, if you lose all the three lives, you'll have to replay the level.
But the game offers you not only obstables. Some helpers are also at your disposal, like Wild Tiles (matched with any animal you want, multiplies your score) and Freezers (freezes the Timer for 5 seconds). There is also a Hint button - use it if you are stuck.
One of the best features in Australia Zoo Quest is the information on different animals that you get after each level. Some data about animals' homes, life and food is useful - for kids. So it's better to play with the whole family.
The cartoonish graphics, very colorful and funny, are also really suitable for kids. So, welcome to Australia Zoo Quest for the whole family!
