Be A King 2 - Be A Builder?..
To be a king is not just what the game offers you to do, but it is rather what the games challenges you to do.
You are to carry out everything this office might require, and that is not little. Be A King 2 is where you are to prove yourself for the position.
Being a king means dealing with a lot of different problems.
Just like any other leading position, to be a king is something that is going to give you lots of headache, but I guess it is not a problem if you are a great handsome prince full of energy and enthusiasm.
Most of the time you are going to spend - surprise-surprise - building all kinds of buildings to meet the goal set for every level.
Of course, you will take care of the prosperity and development and peace of the villages of your kingdom, but you will for sure also think about the protection of your people. The protection is needed because you are going to be attacked by hordes of
monsters and groups of bandits, so towers will be a great option for a building to build. The game is fairly easy and, for the most part, requires little
strategy. You just build what the game says to build, upgrade some
buildings, maybe purchase some heroes or extra workmen, wait for the
necessary population to move in, and then go to the next level and do it
all again.
New areas will become visible for you after you are done with a current one. Those areas will be represented by different kinds of landscapes. This feeds the curiosity to a certain degree.
Another thing that you can do is to earn materials and gold by sending heroes on quests. In general the game is very similar to the first release offering little new and fresh and unique.
The graphics are good for a building game, but the music and some sounds (like the howling of the wolves) may seem a bit irritating after a while.
This is the game in a nutshell. It seems to be more fun for those who either really loved the first game and want more of it, or for those who haven't played the first one having something new to play.
In any case, the trial version is a good helper for making a choice.
