Book of Legends - Finding Sword

 

Book of Legends is a hidden object/adventure game developed and published by Gogii Games. You are taken on a journey with two siblings in search of King Arthur's sword.

 

 

Little Charlie picked his nose into one of the books in the library and got himself into an adventure.

 

The game invites you to be a part of a journey of two kids. One of them, Charlie, has opened a book from the library and it turnes out to be the Book of Legends.

 

The book can give clues to finding the sword of King Arthur himself - an irresistably attractive thing for a little boy.

 

But he doesn't go there alone - he takes his sister along even though she is not that enthusiastic aboutthe whole thing.

 

So starting from Washington D.C. they head to Europe and Asia then. Getting to a new location requires a certain sum of money to buy a ticket. This money are earned by doing some jobs.

 

The jobs are knitted into the story and in some way involve the characters you deal with at that moment.

 

It is usually some kind of a hidden object game.

 

The hintt system is quite complicated in the game. You get as much ints as you need, provided you wait till they recharge.

 

But when you use them you get a hint in a screen devided into blocks with letters and numbers on two sides.

 

In this way you are informed in what area th eitem you are looking for is located. You are also lead through the game by the conversations of the two kids. But those are not very interesting.

 

All in all this is all about the game. It would be I guess more interesting for the new to the genre rather than for those who are familiar with other representatives of the genre.
