Brunhilda and the Dark Crystal - Ordinary Here, Hero There
That is one of the best and sometimes worst things about life when suddenly something happens and your life takes turns you definitely did not expect.
That is the situation with the main character in the new hidden object game Brunhilda and the Dark Crystal from Codeminion.
Brunhinda is about to learn a lot about the magic and how it works.
As the title clearly gives away, the main character in the game is a young girl named Brunhilda. She is an ordinary girl, but only before the trip to her aunt's apartment.
This visit places the girl in charge of saving a Magical Realm from eternal doom. The game will take you to a new location in every chapter of the game.
In this version of saving a world your main task boils down to just looking for a great number of items all around you. Most of the searches are a part of helping someone you meet along the way. Somehow most of them need you to find something for them. The searches are divided into groups of quests.
Icons at the bottom of your screen will tell you
what you're looking for and be marked with either a check mark when
you've found them all, or an X to let you know that you need to search
another room. In this respect the game does a great job not letting you ever get lost or uncertain as to where to go or what to do.
It sometimes gets annoying when the characters send you back and forth to find all that they need. But with all this traveling you can at least enjoy the beautiful scenery of the magical world. And be sure to get totally gorgeous graphics and effects.
There are also mini-games that are represented by those occasions when you need to perform some magic. And those are the typical ones that you would expect to see in a HOG. They get more and more challenging as you progress in the game.
Brunhilda and the Dark Crystal is a beautiful and challenging hidden object game totally worth to be tried at least.
