Build_a_Lot_MysteriesBuild-a-Lot: Mysteries

This game comes from a genre where you usually do not see to many dark themes. But Build-a-Lot: Mysteries tells you right away with its tittle and graphics that it is going to be different this time. So prepare to uncover some mysteries...

While you do have to meet new characters and get to know their secrets and their shady past, this is still not your primary task here.

Build_a_Lot_MysteriesThe story has never been one the major parts of the games of the time management games. But this one is really worth of our attention. You are going to work with Graves Family and get to know it's members and their eccentric interests and stories. It seems like a much more personal and funier way to keep people interested in the story even in this genre.

Since the idea was to make teh game look a bit dark and mystrious, the graphics was one of the things that the developers used to get there. For example, you are going to find yourself playing on screen where the sky is covered with dark clouds and there's lightning. The darker colors create this perfectly spooky neighborhoods.

Build_a_Lot_MysteriesWhile you do have to meet new characters and get to know their secrets and their shady past, this is still not your primary task here. You still need to make some wise strategic and business decisions. And you do that fast. There's a tutorial to help those who are new to this kind of games.

Youare going to work with the houses that people lease and also be on the look out for the houses on sale and the house buyers. Repairing and renovating and construction is still one of the major themes here  just as in the previous releases. Another nice twist is that sometimes you get to do something else, like finding a mysterious map. This is fun and keeps you interested to keep playing.

The game is great and is worth the attantion of not only the genre fans, but alos of those who typically skip the building-themed time-management games.
