Cadenza: Havana Nights Collector's Edition
If you have played enough hidden object puzzle adventure games, you know that nothing good comes out of family getherings, at least in the game realm. Cadenza: Havana Nights Collector's Edition is a wonderful new game at a really nice setting (if you forget about the murder) that reminds you of a nice vacation most of us need.
The graphics of the last century Cuba, the colorful street views, and the accents of the characters are gorgeous and make you want to go on a trip to Cuba.

But in HOPA games you don't visit nice places to relax and enjoy life, you go there to get involved into yet another dark story. This is exactly what happens in Cadenza: Havana Nights Coolector's Edition, the new release into the Cadenza series from Mad Head Games.
Your brother invites you to come to Havana to help him boost up his club's popularity. And you can do this because of your music talent. But you don't really get a chance to do that because your brother gets shot, you are suspected of the shooting by the police, and a strange guitarist gets in control of the cititzens.

As you can see there is a lot to investigate in this game as you uncover one part of the story after another. The graphics of the last century Cuba, the colorful street views, and the accents of the characters are gorgeous and make you want to go on a trip to Cuba. The bonus game affers you a whole new adventure.
There are four modes of difficulty: Novice, Virtuoso, Maestro, and Improviser. Hints and skips are adjustable to your liking from 15 to 90 seconds. You get a map and a strategy guide as you play to help you navigate through Havana.

The game's leads you through quite a few hidden ojbect scenes and mini-games. The latter seem to be on the easy side and outnumbered by the HOP scenes. There is a good variety of the hiddne ojbect scenes including the ones with a story with words in bold.
Don't forget to get all of your morphing objects (16) from the HOP scenes. Other collectibles are 40 diamonds scattered around. The 10 achievements will compensate for the easy puzzles. And all the beautiful art and soundtracks are available for you as part of the extras.
It is a great hidden object puzzle adventure game with an interesting story in a great setting.
