Chronicles of Albian 2: The Wizbury School of Magic
Oh, I'm pretty sure that many will be attracted to Chronicles of Albian 2: The Wizbury School of Magic. It is one of those themes that people really love for some reason. Maybe, it is because many people have good memories of their school times, none of those schools used magic, though.
They are not dark and spooky (even though there's a bit of that, too), but rather interesting and colorful.

In this game you are to investigate who dared to burgler the school. It seems to be quite funny though that no magic is powerful enough for you to find that out, and you still have to follow the clues to find the burgler. That's not all, you are also to upgrade the school before an important event. Be prepared to meet all kinds of characters here - wizards, witches, students, professors, ghosts and ghouls.
The graphics are very attractive. They are not dark and spooky (even though there's a bit of that, too), but rather interesting and colorful. There are many dialogues to go through, but you can speed them (yay!).

As to the game play, it is fun in its own way. There are many little things here, like a fairy that find one item from you HO list, if you find her. If you revisit location for HO searches, there will be a new list every time.
You are involved into selling things to buy some upgrades for the school. There are a few resources available for you - a map, a wand, and a spell book. There are also different kinds of coursor that you can choose from. And you get to find collectibles spread across the game.
The game is fun, but it might fit better either to the fans of the theme or to a younger audience.
