Cradle of Rome 2
This new sequel to the original game will be a great present to many: first of all to the fans of the Cradle of Rome (the first game), then to the match-three genre fans, and finally to those who just stopped by trying to figure out what these casual games are all about.
Cradle of Rome 2 won't be a disappointment in any way. This game is like an extension of the fun you had in the first game.
You are going to do the same things - build buildings in Rome.
The game is really good, but there are many similarities with the first one. If you really liked the first release, it is a pro. If you are expecting for something totally new, it might be a con. With that being said, the game just as addictive even for those who've gone through the first one.
So here are the things that are going to be the same. You are going to do the same things - build buildings in Rome. You are going to do that with the materials that you collect through clearing the match-three boards. Those familiar with the first game will find that even some of the graphics as icons, for example, are the same.
But do not assume that all of the game is the same. No, there are two new modes added to the game's Adventure mode. They are locked at the very befinning, but afer you reach them, you get to play a few other puzzles in the game. They are called Tourney and Blitz.
Most of the time you will be playing the matching levels where you swap the adjacent tiles in order to create groups of three or more. There is a new type of mathing boards included in some levels where you must make a vertical matches over blocks of ice in order to break the ice. It's an interesting and challenging addition to the game.
Those tiles which disappear get replaced with the new ones. All of that will supply you with the money and resourses needed for building. The finished buildings will give you some bonuses too.
Even though the game is so addictive and challenging and fun, it doesn't men that there is something you hadn't seen before.
