Dark Canvas: A Brush With Death Collector's Edition
The life of an artist is always different and full of it's own challenges that are foreign to others. In the case of Dark Canvas: A Brush With Death, it is your and your daughter's lives that are at stake. The game itself is like a beautiful painting of an artist.
While the game is interesting and entertaining, it doesn't offer anything new to the genre.

You are to follow your daughter to a small town of Italy, where she ended up on her journey through Europe. She came across a strange series of deaths accompanied with the appearances of the spirit called Silhouette. There's an artist who can predict the next victim in his painting. You want to find him in order not to be the object of his paintings.
The graphics of the game are very beautiful. It is a piece of art of a different artist. The music and voice overs are well fitting.

While the game is interesting and entertaining, it doesn't offer anything new to the genre. There are some hidden object scenes. They are interactive and do not offer anything stunningly new.
There some achievements to be acquired in order to unlock some of the bonus stuff. But all of it is not too difficult. This might be a problem for some players as the game is really eager to help you out and direct to the solutions.
The game is well thought through with some items that might be a deal breaker for some, but not too bad for the others.
