Dark Tales: Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven Collector's Edition
We all (or most of us) enjoy the holiday spirit and all the wonderful colors and sounds of this time of the year, but it is time to go back to good old dark hidden object puzzle adventure games! And ERS Game Studios has prepared something special for us - a new release of the Dark Tales series!
You play as detective Dupin's assistant in yet another case.

This new game depicts one of Allan Poe's scariest books - The Raven. And the game delivers a good amount of horror with different little details in the scenes. You are going to see a lot of raven in Dark Tales: Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven Collector's Edition (some without their heads even). Sometimes, they just appear and make their creepy sounds. In other words, it is fun!

You play as detective Dupin's assistant in yet another case. This time it is about blood moon, murders, and a secret society, and it gets more complicated as you uncover all the details of the evil behind it. It begins as a case of a suicide because of an unsuccessful romance. But your client is confident there is more going on and it is truly so!

As you begin to follow the clues, you realize that you are up against a strong secret society - The Raven Society. They are behind all the drama and murders. There is a bonus game where you actually go after them.
The game's visual presentation is absolutely gorgeous. You will be well pleased with the all the little details in the scenes. It is a puzzle-heavy game. You also get to collect items (12) and earn achievements (49). You get 29 puzzles and 20 hidden object scenes available for replay. You get a map and a strategy guide in case you need help. There are four modes of difficulty, one of which is Custom. The hints and skips are adjustable from 5 to 200 seconds. There are a lot of media extras for you to download (screen savers, wallpaper, concept art, movies, and music). The gameplay shows signs of a lot of thought and work put into it. Both the hidden object scenes and the puzzles are creative and very well-crafted.
This might not become your favorite Dark Tales game, but it will definitely be one of the best HOPA games that you have played!
