Darkness and Flame: Missing Memories Collector's Edition

Lots of drama and mystery in the new addition to the Darkness and Flame series. Darkness and Flame: Missing Memories Collector's Edition is an interesting hidden object puzzle adventure that takes you on a new journey to regain your peace again.

It is an interesting story to follow especially if you are familiar with the characters after the first game. 

For those who are not familiar with the series, the story revolves around a girl Alice and her life and family. She has received a mark of a Firebird and that has changed her life forever. She lost her father, but she is not alone. She has her uncle Colin.

Both of them are kind of on the run, but now it gets even more complicated when they have to set out on another journey of finding a woman that comes to Uncle Colin in nightmares asking for help. He confesses that he has actually lost memory of several years of his life. He believes finding this woman will give them answers to their questions and bring back the memories.

It is an interesting story to follow especially if you are familiar with the characters after the first game. here is a bonus chapter where you get a chance to play as a different character.

The game has a beautiful audio-visual presentation. Some of the locations look mysterious but not in a dark way. You are going to see a lot of blue and purple here.

There are four modes of difficulty to choose from (Casual, Advanced, Hard, and Custom) and adjustable hints (5-90 seconds) and skips (5-150 seconds). 

All those challenge level settings might come in handy to the more experienced players because most of the puzzles - though very creative and appropriate to the story - are fairly easy. There are not too many hidden object scenes, but plenty of collectibles (42) and morphing objects (30) in every scene. There are a map and a strategy guide for you and a whole lot of all kinds of media extras.
