Dragon Portals - Save the Dragons and Have Fun!
Today we present a new game in the marble popper genre with a totally new game mechanics which together with the gorgeous visuals and relaxing sounds as well as helpful power-ups makes Dragon Portals one of the best titles in the genre.
Going to find your missing pet? What can be safer?
Actually, Mila, the heroine of this unusual story, didn't think about any strange things at all when she went to look for her beloved cat to the near-by park. But when she found him in an old fountain, she also found a weird ancient-looking amulet with a dragon on it. Having decided to show it to her grandfather, whose roots came from China, Mila took it with her and went to bed without any second thought. But the next morning she found herself in the most unexpected situation, namely, in a strange oriental room facing an old man in a big hat. The story he told her was even more strange. He said she was in the ancient magical land called Dragonia, and, of course, lots of beautiful dragons lived there. But now they were all chained to earth and she, as the only descendant of the dragon sentinel, was, of course, the only one who could save them by opening Dragon Portals and removing Dragon Orbs. Did she have any choice but to agree? That's where her mission - and your game - starts...
The game mechanics, as I already mentioned, is unique, though based on marble popping game play. You have five dragons, that is lines of colorful orbs. Your task is to remove them by dropping similarly colored orbs from the top lines to the bottom ones so that three or more of the same kind were matched. You can either match orbs in the bottom line or remove the orb between matching ones in the top line. If you manage to remove orbs in both top and bottom line, that is a Double Match and multiplies your score, as do the Combos you manage to create.
The ultimate goal for a level is to gather the minimum number of points reflected in the progress meter at the bottom of your screen and not fall to the ground (that is your time limit). Once you reach that point, you can get extra score while your dragons fly to their portals.
Of course, things won't be that easy all the time. There will be clouds preventing you from seeing the filed clearly, and locked orbs to be unlocked, and many other obstacles making your game experience more interesting. And, surely, there will be power-ups of three types (Destructive, Creative and Passive) to earn and use - some of them are really helpful.
There is also a mini-game where you have take pictures of the dragons. Fun and nice for a change, but if you don't like it, there is an option to skip - it's your choice.
Your choice is also whether you play the Adventure, Survival or Islands mode, once you unlock them, of course.
So, are you ready to save the dragons?
