Enlightenus - Has Got All You Need
Enlightenus is one of the latest releases to the hidden object genre. The game being developed and published by Blue Tea Games offers you a nice combination of mysterious adventure, challenging hidden object and pleasant story.
You are to play in 14 hidden object scenes with over a dozen of mistarious rooms to explore.
You play as Inspector Doubleleaf, a famous detective who was asked by a very famous novelist to solve a very strange mystery.
When you arrive ot the novelist's mansion you find out that this famous author wrote the stories about elves from his own experience.
He actually has access to their world. But he has a problem now. Something has stolen his novels and you are to find them.
The game play goes as follows, you search room after room trying to find inventory objects and use them as well as pages of the novels that are scattered all over the place.
The novel titles are fun and interesting. I found myself wanting to
know more about "Wild West Jack and the Raccoon Gang" and "The Strange
Tales of Meadow Creek Farm." Production values were polished
throughout, from the excellent voice acting in the opening to the
detailed graphics in the novel scenes.
There are also mini-games that place place figurine tokens in a logical
pattern.
One of the drawbacks of the game is the freedom that you have in moving around the rooms. It's up to you to discover where to go next, so if you don't know, you need to figure this out somehow.
But you can always try a free demo or find tips and tricks to be unstuckable and reach the end of the story that won't disappoint you.
