Fear for Sale: City of the Past assigns you for a chilling trip to a city you've never been to. This game series is known for their weird stories happening in different locations that you get to look into and find the truth behind. This release challenges you to tackle yet another mystery.

It seems that all that is tied to the decision to demolish all th esculptures and build a playground instead, but there is so much more to learn about this story.

You are going to Eastwood as a paranormal investigator to check if strange reports from the locals are really true. The local people insist that the city's sculptures come to life and attack people. 

No matter how unrealistic it sounds you become a witness of a sculpture coming to life and trying to kill the local sheriff right in from of your eyes. Not only that - you begin to see ghost like appearances helping you on your quest. It seems that all that is tied to the decision to demolish all th esculptures and build a playground instead, but there is so much more to learn about this story.

Despite the creepiness of the sotry, the game's graphics look beautiful and with a lot of blue colors. The sound effects make the images look more realistic. The voice overs are great. Your character Emma comments all that you do whic is helpful becuase you don't have to read the small type at the top.

You are going to have to walk around a lot to collect all kinds of stuff (toys, doctor's tools, actress associated things, postcards and over 30 beyond objects). Some of the inventory to proceed in the story are only available via a puzzle or a mini game.

The number of the hidden object scenes and the puzzles seems to be the same. Most of the puzzles appear to be quite easy. The hidden object scenes offer different kind of searches. Some come with mini-HOPs inside, some require more then one step to complete.

You are challenged with 11 achievements. You can use a map and a strategy guide as you play. As part of CE you get the usual walpaper, screensaver, and music.

Fear for Sale: City of the Past Collector's Edition is a great hiddne object puzzle advneture game that will keep you busy for a few hours!
