Fishdom: Depths of Time Collector's Edition
The anticipated 4th installment of the Fishdom franchise is finally nigh! Fishdom: Depths of Time Collector's Edition is here and it is quite possible the coolest game from the Match-3 genre that has come out in the past year. This cute, clean fun has adjustable game play to make it simple enough for the newcomer or challenging enough for the hardcore Match-3er.
It is fascinating to see how the Fishdom games are improving, but if you haven’t played any of the previous episodes, don’t worry. Skip straight to Depths of Time.
As the title implies, you’ll be able to travel through time under the sea. In each historical epoch, you’ll be able to collect items to decorate with. There are a grand total of over 150, so that should keep you busy! If that sounds like a lot (which it is), then you’ll really be impressed by the FOUR HUNDRED levels in this game.
Once again, if you are already a fan of the Match-3 type of game, then you’ll love the fourth chapter of Fishdom. If you’re new, or have never played a Match-3 game, then this is a perfect starting point for you.
The art in this game is real nifty. Like the previous three Fisdhom games, this one is set underwater. It’s got a more 3-d look to it, so it doesn’t have the weird Spongebobesque fell to it that some underwater games have.
There are a variety of fish that you will interact with, and the illustrators have done a good job of bringing them to life.
Loads of different backgrounds to go with it. Two thumbs up!
