Jenny's Fish shop - your very own aquarium!
Alawar Games and OWL Studio offer you a new time-management game - Jenny's Fish Shop. The game features nothing special or unique, but it's quite a high quality example of dashes so popular nowadays. You will help Jenny, a young but determined shop owner, bring her fish shop to thriving and create the aquarium of her dreams.
As you might guess, you act as Jenny - and assist her in developing her fish shop and achieving success.
When Jenny was a little girl she lived by the sea as her parents were lifeguards. Those times taught her to love sea and its inhabitants. And the first excursion to the local aquarium brought her the dream of her life - to have an aquarium of her own. Now she has grown up, bought an old house by the sea and started her fish business. And the first order is in!
But before you start selling fish to your customers you need to select your own pet - the one who will keep you company and help you a bit with your hard work. You have two options - Sharky, a cute little fish whol will help you care for your alive goods and Taz, a nice turtle who will add you some time if you run out of it. Your little helper will need some care, mostly food - don't let him starve and he'll reward you handsomely.
Once you have chosen your company it's time to start working. In the bottom right corner of the screen you'll see incoming orders for fish and other marine creatures you have to raise. Drag a fish icon to a vacant aquarium and put it there. Above the aquarium you'll see icons of the necessary gravel and algae for the fish. Select them on the interior machine and it will start creating the interior. You can make several interior at a time - and that will give additional combo points. But this can be done only with different ingredients - remember this.
After you place the interior to the aquarium, the fish will ask for food. Bring it as soon as possible, for the quicker you will satisfy all the needs of your pets, the quicker they will grow and the more money they will bring you.
As soon as the fish has grown enough to be sold - sell it! And vacate the place for the next one. Try to raise similar fish in the same aquarium - thus you will earn a combo bonus and increase your profit.
And the profit is crucial when you get to purchasing upgrades for the shop. Nothing special here - you'll be able to buy new equipment or upgrade existing ones, including Jenny herself. Some upgrades, like new floors, for example, will be provided to you free of charge.
On the whole I would say the game is quite a nice choice for time-management addicts, though it can't offer anything unique or innovative.
