Jewelry Secret: Mystery Stones
Jewelry Secret: Mystery Stones is one of the latest releases into the hidden object genre. The game has so many hidden objects that no genre fan will stay unpleased joining Emily on her unexpected journey to different parts of the world in different times.
So it takes you a couple of searches actually and a puzzle game before the story unfolds and you get transported in time into Egypt.
In this game you don't get any of the story before you actually start playing except for the location where it all began, which is Paris. Then you start your first hidden object search because of such a popular reason in this genre of casual games - somebody needs your help in cleaning up the place.
This time around it is your uncle. So it takes you a couple of searches actually and a puzzle game before the story unfolds and you get transported in time into Egypt. That is only the start of many transportations across the world and throughout the time. You didn't do much to get in there, only touched the bracelet made for your aunt and here you are. But you will have to do something to get back in time and place.
The game features really many hidden object searches. And they are not the easy ones. Some of the items are hidden way too well. Those are the times when the hints on a rechargable basis come in handy for you.
There are also mini-games to entertain you in between the searches. Those are the typical puzzles that you played many times before unless you are new to the genre. Some of them are not really clear, like the first one where you are to put into the fuses into the device. I put all of them, but didn't really get what was the general principle.
The game's general look is pretty acceptable and pleasing. The sounds and music do not irritate, but please the ears along the way. The game will be a perfect place for the fans of pure hidden object fun because there is lots of that in here. There isn't much of interactive challenge typical to the games of this genre today, but it is not that bad for a change.
The game sounds ok without any irritating elements. The graphics are attractive and detailed enough.
