Laura Jones and the Gates of Good and Evil - Save the World

 

Laura Jones and the Gates of Good and Evil is a new casual adventure game from Nevosoft. The game should be lots of fun for the fans of such titles as Dream Chronicles and Azada.

 

The game is full of adventures and mysteries. You play as a graduate who got engaged into the search of some special gates in order to keep the evil spirits behind the doors and not to let them out. In other words - you are to save the world, I guess.

 

 

You are to find all the artefacts in order to get the key to the special gates. There are tons of different puzzles to be a playground for accomplishing that goal.

 

Laura - that's the name of your character. All the story and search rolls on a university campus. She was invited to be a part of this secret project by one of the professors, Professor Adams. So Laura keeps track of the mysterious artefacts that are parts of the key. This key opens the secret gates. Laura's task is to restore the proper balance and not let the evil spirits get out.

 

The game features different kinds of puzzles and it is a good thing that makes it quite entertaining. Most of the time you play the point-and-click kind of levels. You have to think how you can use the objects that you see in order to reach the level's goal.

 

Each new artefact means that you are to be tested through a mini-game.

 

Sometimes you are given a list of objects to find or two images where you have to find all the differences. Apart from that, there are also mini-games. You play them every time you find a new artifact. They are like special ordeals that the guardian spirits use to check if Laura can keep it.

 

They are nine in total. All of them are familiar to you from other adventure games. Some of them are more common like jigsaw puzzles; some are less like a mini-game where you have to hit an apple with an arrow.

 

The game offers a good way to spend your break or evening or even night...It depends on how much you are a fan of adventure games.
