Another game to cool you off this hot summer. How about travelling to European snowy mountains? League of Light: Dark Omens Collector's Edition is a place to do that! And not only that, but also to be sent on a mission because you have been chosen to belong to a league...

This game is a way to escape to Europe to fight the evil and make you brain work as you try to solve the puzzles.

The story is from the 19th century and takes place in a mountain village. Frist you travel to the mountains in Europe to find out that you were accepted to the League of Light. Before you realise what just happened, you learn that you are sent to a your firs assignment. Even though it is not new for us to fight with darkness on behalf of light, it is nice to spend your day in cold the Carpathian mountains.

The graphics are drawn very well with many details belonging to the time and place. The characters are animated and voiced over, which always makes it easier to immerse yourself into the story. If you really like the game, you will be happy to know that you can there are downloadable wallpaper.

There are 9 chapters to cover without the bonus chapter. You can choose from three different modes of difficulty. The hidden object scenes are not too many, but just enough to be still interesting (unless you are a HO fan). They are slightly interactive and use silhouettes sometimes.

The puzzles are scattered all over the game. They offer a decent level of difficulty and make you think (but not sit without any idea what to do). Some of them are pretty easy thoughThere are also owls to collect and achievements to get. Anyways the game will keep you busy for quite a while.
