This game's story is an interesting attempt to retell the events of the town of Hamelin. As you know, the story is about a piper who saved the town from rats with his flute. What a mysterious yet wonderful act!
But the guy did not receive what was due for such a heroic rescue of the town. Now he is back and he wants revenge. But you learn about that kind of unintentionally because you are actually on a different quest. You are trying to help your scarecrow friend Tom be free from a curse and get his human form back!

Your quest is what lead you to Hamelin. Now, you are involved in the flutist drama. Helping the town return to its peaceful state and learning the truth about the piper might help you find the answers to help Tom!

The game takes you to many beautiful and enchanting scenes set in the middle ages German town. The places are both beautiful and mysterious looking. Tom is not just one of the characters that appear in the story. He is your helper that you get to equip and use. Or not use if you prefer so. It is optional in this game.
The game features four modes of difficulty: Casual, Advanced, Expert, and Custom. Adjust your skips and hints from 1 to 90 seconds. A map and a strategy guide are available to you as you make your way through the game. The puzzles are fun but mostly easy. You will have to either adjust the challenge settings or enjoy the casual flow of this part of the game. The hidden object scenes are well thought through and creative. You get to earn 9 achievements, collect 6 characters and 24 owls, and enjoy a lot of media extras put together for you!
It is a fun game with a slightly new take on the story we all know.
