Living Legends - Wrath of the Beast Collector's Edition

“I’ve had this nightmare since my mother’s death…” What a creepy way to start a game! The opening line is followed with a mini-movie of a wizard plugging things into a magical portal with a frozen woman inside. The only remaining task is to put this fire thingy into the portal, but a monster with a different agenda attacks!

The bear-beast chases a blond woman through the snow (maybe some kind of knock-off of the movie, Frozen?) and you wake up from the dream to find…. your first clue of the adventure! In this twisted up version of the fairy tale, Goldilocks is your mother and she has been torn apart by the bears! 

I suppose baby bear thought she was just right. As you look at a family portrait, she warns you, “Careful, they’re coming!” But, who are they? Whence are they from? What do they want? These questions and more will unravel as you play this hot new game.

Living Legends 3: Wrath of the Beast Gameplay is the third hot chapter of the Living Legends game series. You don’t need to play the other two, which are also good, but not quite as good as this one. You do, however, need to be a bit familiar with the Goldilocks story, so look it up on Wikipedia or something before you commence on this adventure.

The collector’s edition stands out. There’s a bonus chapter in which you get to play with the magical bears, and as you pick up collectables, you will be able to learn more about the Alchemist. Of course, there’s the standard strategy guide and media as well.

This game is really neat! I hope they do future games along the same lines of Fairy Tales gone horribly horribly wrong.
