Lost Lands: The Golden Curse Collector's Edition
Lost Lands: The Golden Curse Collector's Edition is a wonderful sequel to the Lost Lands series. It is a great place to be for those who enjoy hidden object puzzle adventure games and learning about life in different worlds where magic is a real thing.
The game spreads over five main chapters and a bonus one where you get learn something about one of the main characters.

If you played any of the previous games of this series, you know about all the trouble the people of the lost lands had to go through before to establish peace and life in their land. But as it usually happens, once they thought the problems are gone, they face another danger.
One of the main characters, Susan, is transported in this fantasy land to rescue it from the curse that makes statures come to life with bad intentions for the citizens. She herself needs to be careful too and not touch gold that has gotten dominion of the weak.

The game spreads over five main chapters and a bonus one where you get learn something about one of the main characters. The game provides a strategy guide and skips and hints for you, but if you stay away from all that, you will find a lot of stuff to do and challenge your HOPA skills with.
Unlike many other games of the same kind this one doesn't offer you a custom mode, but you do get to adjust most of the usual settings in one of teh three modes of difficulty that are there.

You get to collect a lot of stuff in this game: manuscripts, figurines, and your own stuff lost inthe portal (appearantly portals lose your stuff every once in a time just like the airports do).
The hidden object scenes are not too many here but rather are scattered in between the many puzzles and mini-games. They do have you not only find the item, but also use them in the picture somehow. The collector's edition extras offer you so much more to play with or download even (like wallpaper, soundtrack, concept art).
This game is a lot of fun and challenge too. It never hurts to check out the free version for yourself.
