Lost Secrets: Bermuda Triangle - Story, Challenge, Beauty
Lost Secrets: Bermuda Triangle is a new game developed by Gunnar Games and published by GameMill Entertainment. The title is quite clear, I guess, what the game is all about, or rather where the game is to take you.
The game features the things that make a good hidden-object game: a story that makes you want to know the end of it, beautiful graphics and challenging tasks to accomplish.
You are to get involved into investigating the past secrets knitted into the hidden-object levels and mini-games.
As to the story of the game, Rachel Broadview finds her great grandmother's name in a book about the ships lost in the Beruda Triangle.
As you can predict, nothing stops her from getting on the way of finding out the truth and the details of this information.
Knowing this about the story you can predict the place you are going to visit on this journey.
The images of the places you are going to visit like beaches, underwater environments, ships are very attractive.
The hidden object game is nothing new - you get a list of items to find and you find them. The items on the list most of the time have nothing to do with the story or the place.
But some are still very relevant to the story giving you more details. In case you are stuck with an item, you can always click on the hint button. It turns your cursor orange as you get closer to the item you want to find.
But be careful, too much clicking leads to blocking your hint function. Some of the images are not that clear, or items names are frustrating.
There are mini-games that you can play to have some rest from the hidden-object sessions. They are also marine-themed and get more challenging as you progress. The story is also given to you in between the levels.
You choose if you want to follow it or skip it.
All in all the game is an example of a high-quality casual game. But it is still not the one to be your all time favourite.
