Love Story: The Way Home
Love Story: The Way Home is another game from the Love Story series. The game is sweet and quiet and very pleasant, which is a change from the typical games of hidden object puzzle adventure games. Just before starting to this game, I was looking for a French dessert recipe on Saturday afternoon...this is the kind of a game that would fit those things, you know?
The game play seems not to keep up with the modern trends.

The story is very not dark at all, even though there are some bad things happening too and one of the main characters is an orphan trying to obtain her freedom and deal with the new circumstances. There's a little bit of love too (it has to match the title, right?). If you are a fan of stories like that and you have never played any games from the series, you might want to check them out too.
The game's audio-visual presentation is not like that of those super impressive dark games of the genre. The graphics are great, but there's no voice over, so you need to read through the dialogues to follow the story.

The game play seems not to keep up with the modern trends. There is no map or a journal (maybe because the story is a bit different?). There is a great amount of hiddne object scenes that a bit interactive and offer a bit of a variety in hte way you search for items.
Then, there are also many puzzle that are not adding anything new to the one you already know. The hint button is helpful both inside and outside of the hidden object scenes. You do get to collect pages of you diery, but it's a bit different from the way collectibles usually work.
The game is sweet and light to take you away from either other dark HOPA games or you own reality.
