Maggie's Movies: Camera, Action!Maggie's Movies: Camera, Action! Collector's Edition

Regardless of whether you are a fan of time management genre or not, you can not deny that these games are usually uniquely positive. They make you believe in a better world. Maggie's Movies: Camera, Action! Collector's Edition is definitely one of those. It has an engaging story and quite a few challenging levels.

Prepare for a lot of drama! The storytelling is a big part of this game.

Maggie's Movies: Camera, Action!

Maggie's Movies: Camera, Action! Collector's Edition is a wonderful time management game, much like the Delicious series. If you are a fan of that series or the genre in general, you are pretty much set for a lot of fun with this one. The game introduces you to Maggie, a really sweet young lady with a dream. Because of her grandfather, she is dreaming of becoming a film director one day, and not just dreaming, but also doing everything that can get her there.

The fortune seems to be on her side when she gets a raise and becomes an assistant director. But this job quickly throws an extra challenge on her. Not only has she have to prove her directing skills, but also her people and management skills as the producer proves to ba a real party-pooper.

Maggie's Movies: Camera, Action!

She, the producer that is, refuses to pay the crew for the overtime, making life hard for the Maggie. And she blames all the crew's unhappiness on Maggie anyway.  So prepare for a lot of drama! The storytelling is a big part of this game.

The game is full of tasks for you. It is basically the same mechanics as in many of the genre, but you are on the set here helping the actors with whatever they might need - costumes, makeup, food etc. You have 60 levels to complete and 18 more for an extra challenge. You earn money as you complete each level to upgrade the set. There are also achievements and extras, like wallpaper and concept art. There is a bonus chapter that explains Maggie's love for the movies.

It is a neat little time management game that looks and feels pretty decent compared to the other hits of the genre.
