Murder, She Wrote - Well Done, I Say
Games like Murder, She Wrote are like a chocolate cake with chocolate icing. Because it is so full of things typical to the hidden object games.
One would think that a mystery and hidden object elements are enough for a hidden object game, but not Legacy Interactive. They made the taste even stronger by adding the well-known character from a well-known series to it.
The game is good both in its content and the form. The parallels to the tv show are done very well.
The game offers you some of the things that you were served by the tv show. Such as unexpected story twists and familiar voices and characters.
You are to solve five cases. You are going to meet Jessica Fletcher as well as other familiar characters from the show, including Seth Hazlitt and Sheriff Mort Metzger.
The cases can be played in a timed or relaxed mode. But both offer a jenerous amount of time actually.
As usually you are to get to all kinds of locations to serch for things. But in this game you will also have to find all of the vowels for the items list to further serch of the things.
There are hints available for you but you want also to be looking for a black typewriter ribbon to make your hints replenish faster.
You may need to perform some actions on the scenes to get something. These minor adventure puzzles makes it more fun to play.
In between these hidden object levels you will come across the dialogues and mini-games.
The game supplies you with over 80 levels which is about two-dozen locations. I guess it's not bad for a great hidden object game.
Anyways it's up to you to decide if you want this one, and a trial version serves this purpose well.
