My Kingdom for the Princess - The Really Romantic Story!
My Kingdom for the Princess is one of those games that offer the best there is in the genre. The game was developed and published by NevoSoft to treat the time management genre fans to something tasty.
You will find yourself in the midst of nature disaster, life threatening circunstances and love story with all of these being so interconnected.
The story is a classic one for the fairytails that all little (and big) girls love - She, He and a Dragon.
So she is Princess Helen. He is a knight named Arthur who is totally in love with her. The Dragon is a dragon that was sleeping until a horrible tornado hit the kingdom and woke him up.
Helen wasn't there when it happened. Now she needs to find the way back to the distructed home. More over she doesn't know if her father is alive and somebody has to do something with the dragon because he will be back tp sleep only after having eaten 37 people.
As you can guess by now Arthur will be this somebody. In order to deal with all this mess Arthur needs to repar the roads and the bridge. He has workers for this labor and the more there is the better.
The workers need food which makes you build farms to provide them with all they need. Different tasks will provide you with three resources - wood, food and gold. These are shown onyour screen all the time.
Other task for you to do show up in every level making it more challenging. New task means new strategy, which is a good thing since it makes the game only more interesting.
The game also offers you some power-ups to speed-up work or to stop the timer, but at the same time there's no such functions as chaining up the actions. Those power-ups are still very useful since you can complete the level before the nightfall and add more to the castle that is being built in Arthur's honor by Helen's uncle.
The audio-visual are great and only make the general gameplay a more enjoyable experience.
The game is great if this is the game genre you are fond of - challenging game in a beautiful wrapping.
