Mystery Case Files: Dire Grove Collector's Edition
For those who've been waiting for the whole year there's a great surprise: at last we got it! Yeah, the sixth game in the Mystery Case Files series coming soon! Did you expect a game with gripping gameplay and well-drawn graphics? You must've underestimated the talents of Big Fish Games for real hits as what they are going to release now is more than just a masterpiece, it's amazingly unbelievable!
It's the first time there have been planned two versions of the game in the MCF series.
The standard version with 1 hour trial period is to appear in the early December. The difference between two versions is the ability to try it before buying in the standard version, and the in-game strategy guide and bonus gameplay content (such as video, desktop wallpapers, etc) in the Collector's Edition.
What we know about the story plot is that the story begins when you find an abandoned car with a camera broken beyond repair inside. Still it is able to show us a young girl crying in panic. She was writing a note when suddenly something happened around and the record came abruptly to end. Having a look around you can also find the note saying: "The legend is real. She is real. Whatever you do, don't...". It's thrilling, isn't it?
So, if you leave the car stay on the side of the road and despite the freak snow storm go ahead, you'll see a secluded resort named Dire Grove. It's closed for season and seems to be absolutely empty if you don't take into account the traces of young people, who have been here not so long ago. Where did they disappear?
As you walk inside and outside the building, you can easily find tapes scattered all around, revealing more and more information to you. In particular, you find out that those young people were the graduate students investigating some Celtic rituals. They came to this place in search for relic keys referring to a mysterious Celtic legend. All you can feel now is that a tragedy happened here.
The developers guarantee from 10 to 15 hours for you to enjoy the gameplay including search for hidden objects and solving puzzles, and find out what stands behind the students' disapperance. Really qualitive videos and sounds will at least unprecedentedly impress you. Hints are, of course, rechargeable, there is no time limit. Random clicking makes the screen freeze for some seconds but it's not so bad as you won't need to click in random.
So, get ready for the adventure and check our site for updates!
