Off the Record: Linden Shades Collector's Edition

Off the Record: Linden Shades Collector's Edition is an absolutely stunning hidden object puzzle adventure game recently released. The game fits into the genre very well with its creepy ghostly story and beautifully detailed graphics and various puzzles.

The game follows the standard routine of the HOPA games these days.

You play as a reported who is trying to find out as much information as possible about an old case in Linden Shades. Children in an orphanage began to see blood-red ghosts, and the only person who thought they were real was their principle. Anyways the place was covered with fear. Now, you have a chance to become an insider of the story and see the truth behind all of the events.

The graphics and the audio presentation of the story is very well done. The scenes you are to visit are strangely and unususally bright and colorful and sunny. The character are voiced over for a better impression.

The game follows the standard routine of the HOPA games these days. There's an adventure part were you go from place to place and collect some inventory and use it elsewhere. 

Then there are hiddne object scenes that are quite interactive and offer a few different ways to search for the items. As you do that you occasionally come across a puzzle to solve. All these three major parts of the game don't seem to be too challenging. But even if you are stuck, you can use a hint. 

The game contains a lot of content to be explored. There are achievements and collectibles and additional puzzles to go through.

You don't want to miss this one if you into the hiddne object puzzle adventure genre. The game is really worth to be considered at least.
