Off the Record: The Final Interview Collector's Ediiton
Some of the series in the world of casual games are like brands that represent a certain level of quality (of lack of thereof) on several levels. The Off the Record series is one of those. And it stands for a high standard of HOPA genre games.
The story of the game keeps developing unravelling more and more details and keeping you at the screen.

Off the Record: The Final Interview Collector's Edition is a new release into the series. You get a call from one of the best horse breeders. He's old and he's willing to share a story from his past. But something happens and you end up with amnesia and the old man is seriously ill and about to die.
You are now the suspect in this case because you were the last person to talk to him. But you'll have to do a lot of work on your own to bring back the memory and prove that you are innocent.

The graphics of this game are just wonderful. It is not one of the dark creepy stories. You visit all kinds of indoor and outdoor locations in this new town (often having to fix thing around - looks like a lot is broken in this town). The voice overs are really good too.
The game features four levels of difficulty including a custom mode where you can adjust things like hints and skip reload time. The difficulty mode can be changed at any point throughtout the game. You are provided with a strategy guide and a map in case you get lost.

The hiddne object searches don't seem to be all that difficult. Some of them are just lists, others are groups of same or similar items. The more challenging ones are the riddles where you are shown two items that need a third one. It's fun!
The hiddne object searches will keep you on your toes. The same is with the inventory. Some of them consist of several parts, so prepare to run around a lot. Plus, there are quite a few collectibles, and morphing objcts, and achievements to think about. The puzzles and mini games vary in theri dufficulty and styles. Some of them are based on your reactions, other are need more thingking.
It is a great detective-style hiddne object puzzle advneture game both for the fans of the series and those new to it!
