Portal of Evil: Stolen Runes Collector's Edition
Evil is at your door in Portal of Evil: Stolen Runes Collector's Edition. This hidden object puzzle adventure game is another story of you rescuing the world from a disaster because you the one. This theme is not new for us at all. Let's see if the other aspects of the game offer anything new.
The gameplay follows the hidden object puzzle adventure standard.

You are the only left heir of a member of some pretty influential group and you are a woman (couldn't help pointing that out being a great opponent of switching the roles between men and women). You need to find some ancient runes that will prevent a portal to open between evil and our world.
The game's graphics and audio and music all work together to create a very creepy and impressive presentation of the story. All characters and scenes are crisp and realistic, and the music enhances the level of dreadfulness.

The gameplay follows the hidden object puzzle adventure standard. There are not so many hidden object scenes but those, that there are, are to be visited twice. You find itens in a different way every time you go there.
The puzzles are not very difficult. Some are challenging becuase the instructions are not clear. Some are quite original, which is always appreciated. You are to collect messages as you play. There's no achievments but a lot of bonus content.
Even though it seems to one of the many out there, it stands firm among them.
