The hand-drawn graphics are really amazing and the sounds and music are not worse.
The lyrics of one of Depeche Mode's song prove to be true claiming that precious and fragile things need special handling. The main character of Reincarnation: Awaikening, Jane, got in trouble after Dr. Weiner found out about her ability.
Desiring to become the world's best psychiatrist (how come people from that field are often the ones with some serious problems?), he got Jane into an asylum. Now she needs to use her ability to visit here past lives and also a magical amulet that Dr.Herzle, who helped her become aware of her abilities, has hidden in Jane's room wanting to help her.
Despite your expectations, you are not going to visit a whole variety of locations all over the world. Only two actually await for you. One of them is in Victorian London, where you will investigate the murder of your brother. The oner one is in Renaissance Venice where help your lover escape the prison.
You will also play a lot around the asylum, which isn't a bad thing actually. The hand-drawn graphics are really amazing and the sounds and music are not worse creating a totally matching atmosphere.
Most of your time here will be spent in different hidden object levels searching for things. Sometimes it will require more than just finding it on the screen, but doing something to an item to get what you need. You will have to go back and forth sometimes to finally complete the level.
Some of the items will go to your inventory to be used later. Some of the inventory items are to be used in the puzzles in between the levels. Sometimes they just won't work without some detail.
Collector's edition awards you with bonuses once the game is finished. Those will be Concept art, wallpapers, music and screensavers, along with "Circus Rainbow," a brief bonus level.
