Road To Riches 2 - Driving Your Way Up

 

Road To Riches 2 is a sequel of a game about girls and trucks. Quite an unusual combination, but it proved to be a good one for a great time-management/strategy game.

 

You are to help John find its way now that he is not in the army any more. 

 

 

Trucking business turned out to be a perfect start with a successful finish for John.

 

A short story before a long tutorial tells you about John who finally left the army, which was quite a dicision for him and now is to find his way in life.

 

He comes to Claudia and meets her husband (for the first time). John must be a good person or at least makes an impression of one because Claudia's husband is willing to give him his truck.

 

But John, being a decent man, wants to pay him back anyways. So that's where the game begins. Claudia's husband is willing to help John start being in the trucking business. The tutorial will have to take some time because there is a lot of details you need to be aware of in order to make John a successful businessman. You will see a map of the city with your truck and orders highlighted. It is up to you to decide which order to take and vihicle to use.

 

The details of each order will help you make your mind, but there isn't much time for thinking because you need to make the required sum of money before the end of the day.

 

The game features several modes to play and many decisions to make.

 

Adding to what was mentioned above there are also other issues to think about, like truck repair and driver's stamina. There is a special window where you assign certain orders to certain trucks. The pause button is very useful for this because it gives you a break to think. 

 

Thinking is crucial in this game since you don't have lots of time and your income ticks down a little bit as you go somewhere.

 

The game features an impressive number of modes to unlock. Those are: Story mode (you don't unlock this one), Max the Bank, Ticking Clock, Market Leader, Team Harmony, Get Irving. Each of them as you can see from the names is focused on a certain goal.

 

Road To Riches 2 is a game for those who like more tham just clicking as fast as you can or solving puzzles but for those who like achiving certain goals through thinking and making disicions.
