Santa's
Super Friends - Help Santa Out
Casual
games developers are generous in Christmas-themed games this Christmas season.
And this is a good thing as we meet another it's-Christmas-! game.
Santa's Super Friends, developed and
published by ToyBox Games, is an
arcade game with Christmas story attached.
You will
have to work with Santa's Super Friends at the toys factory in order to not let all
the children of the world down.
The story
of the game is pretty nothing special.
The Christmas is in danger because one
of Santa's helpers messed everything up stealing all the toys right on the eve
of the holiday.
Now instead of calling 911 you are asked to help Santa.
You
will have to work with his Super Friends at the toys factory in order to not
let all the children of the world down.
And you are to do that really fast.
Remember? The big day is right around the corner.
You are to
match the right pieces of the toys on the conveyor belt before they reach the
end of it.
So the task
for you is to work at the conveyor belt with pieces of toys on it.
You are to
match the right pieces of the correct colors in order to complete a toy.
You
can also fulfill the elf's special request and thus earn some bonus points.
The
thing is that you are to do that with all the parts before they reach the end
of the belt.
The task seems quite easy but the difficulty grows as you progress
through the game. So even if you choose the easiest difficulty level on the
menu you still won't get away from the troubles.
Even though
the game gets really difficult as you go farther, there are power-ups to help
you out. There's the Survival mode for those who want to polish their toy
completing skills.
The game
does get crazy in farther levels but there are special power-ups to make it
easier for you.
You get them on the conveyor belt too. For example, the magnet
power-up will take all the pieces on the conveyor belt that can be used for a
toy and do the job for you. Very useful!
You will need all of the power-ups
since quite soon you will be to deal with two or even three conveyor belts with
toys of different colors.
The game can be played in one of two modes: Quest or
Survival. The Quest mode is the one with the story, and the Survival mode is
for those who would like to check how long they could keep making the toys.
The game isn't
an innovation in all its ways but it does bring the Christmas mood about.
