Scrapbook Paige -Creative Hidden-Object Challenge
Most of the games attract people according to their genre preferences. This one from Aisle 5 Games is not at all like that. I bet it will attract more of scrapbooking fans than hidden-object ones.
Scrapbook Paige is a great place for those who enjoy this wonderful (by this epithet you can tell I'm not a man) activity.
Unlike most of the games of the genre, you won't be involved into any mysterious story where somebody is missing or killed.
The game doesn't give you any intriguing stories. Everything is quite clear and simple - you are just to help Paige in her scrapbook shop.
By the way, in case you were wandering, Paige is not a misspelled word, but a name of the character of the game.
The game features two modes - timed and relaxed. Don't expect fierce challenge in the times mode.
You are given about 30 minutes per level that doesn't take that much. Experienced players will need about a half of this time.
In every level, three areas are highlighted for you, all of which are parts of scrapbooking process. Choosing one of them you start the hidden-object part.
This part is quite usual offering no innovations except for one. What was interesting here is that there were different variants of items for a word on the screen.
Choosing the less obvious one gives you more points.
Once you are done with the seek-and-find part it's time for some creativity to take place.
The next step is creating a scrapbook ordered by your clients. You are limited in time to go through all your material and choose the best ideas.
All your work is awarded with stars. The more stars you get, the more money the clients pay. After that you it's optional to personalize the page earning more stars.
The game is really a good way to have some rest from all these terrifying stories. Moreover it offers a fresh theme and some innovating ideas.
