Shiver: Poltergeist Collector's EditionShiver: Poltergeist Collector's Edition

Shiver: Poltergeist Collector's Edition is a recently released hidden object puzzle adventure game with a not so unique story but still with very high production values. The game follows the footsteps of the Shiver series. Poltergeist is the challenge for you this time.

The introduction to the game is very well done. You feel like a part of a movie.

Shiver: Poltergeist Collector's Edition

You play as Ricardo Chellini who has just inherited a manor in England. Now that his monotonous life has chenged, he has to go and explore the manor. But little he realized about the real changes which are about to happen as he learns the history behind the manor.

The introduction to the game is very well done. You feel like a part of a movie, then you learn more about the story through excellent graphics and really nice voice over. The videos can be watched all over again from the menu.

There is a journal to accompany you in this game. It contains diary, tasks and photographs of the location. The pictures are useful for knowing where you need to go back to.

The adventure part is very well thought through. Exploring the scenes is very enjoable and ineresting. The mini-games that you run into as you proceed are very familiar if you have been inthis genre for a while now.

The hidden object levels are not extremely challenging with a little bit of interaction and a fast recharging hint button.

Shiver: Poltergeist Collector's Edition is another great game in the Shiver series.

I'm a die-hard Steelers fan from NJ too. I went to the Steelers @ Giants game 3 years ago and it was a phenomenal game. Hard to say you sohuldn't go to the Chargers, Colts or Cowboys games tho. Flip a coin dude it's the Steelers that's all that matters. Wait and see if any of them are a nationally televised night game. Those are always great.

07/04/2009 at 1:11 amNancy, I to think you should dneleitfiy have your wiring checked before taking any other measures. It is very possible that there could be high surges of electricity in the wiring that are causing so many lights to suddenly blow. Although, for them to shatter, I would think it's much more than just electrical problems. However, entities are energy and I believe that they can also produce the same effect as electrical surges. But, power surges would not account for the knocking your hearing. Do you feel an evil presence when these things are happening? How long has this been going on? And, did anything happen right before these things started? For instance, a traumatic event, or even anything new brought into the home. Not brand new, just new to you like an antique or even just a used piece of furniture. As far as the dreamcatcher, it is believed that the webs of the dreamcatcher traps bad dreams and the first light of the morning burns them up. Good dreams are allowed to fall through the holes in the web and down through the feathers into the sleeping person below the dreamcatcher. They are believed to be a form of protection, which you probably already know.I really don't know a lot about dreamcatchers and I'm not really sure I believe they really do what they're suppose to do or not. I do know that many ancient cultures have truly believed in their power of protection from nightmares.
