Vendel Games are reminding us again about how far your desire for revenge can take you. Spirit of Revenge: Elizabeth's Secret Collector's Edition is one of the recent hidden object puzzle adventure games that take you to the queens court and all the intrigues of the royal life. 

You are Queen Elizabeth the First's maid of honor and your sidekick is Francis Drake himself!

This is going ot be quite an adventure at least because of Francis Drake. There is a lot of humor and interesting details of these characters' life. Drake is to help you find out what happened to little Edward who seemed to be kidnapped by a dark spirit.

Despite her reluctance to allow Drake to accompany you in this quest (due to not so good history between the two of them), the queen agrees to allow him be with you.

The audio-visuals of this game fit the era and the general story line very well contributing to the atmosphere. There are even 3D portions.

The hidden object scenes offer a big variety of searches which helps not to get bored. Most of them a progressive leading you from one item to another.

The mini-games are not anything innovative really, but they are still challenging and entertaining. The Collecotr's Edition's content includes all kinds of goodies for you: morphing objects and collectibles (poetry), a map, a strategy guide, achievements, a bonus chapter and a few other ones. You can also choose from three difficulty levels or customize your own mode according to your preferences.

The game is really well done. It is a fun and challenging HOPA time killer for the fans of the genre.
