Stranded Dreamscapes: Deadly Moonlight Collector's Edition is a new game in the Stranded Dreamscapes series. It is a game about a mysterious disappearance of a whole family and some ghostly powers behind it.

Stranded Dreamscapes: Deadly Moonlight Collector's Edition takes you a bit back in time, in the late 1800s to be specific, and introduces to the family of Wolfgrins. It so happened that after the death of the family's patriarch, the family has gone missing. Police are confused by this mystery and call you in to investigate the case.

You are going to find out pretty soon that all this ghostly activity has something to do with the amulet that the professor has brought back from his recent expedition.

The graphics are slightly blurry or maybe it's just a fog of mystery covering the scenes and places. The voice-overs are great. It really looks spooky and dark - just as it fits the story. The game offers four modes of play with appropriate names: Dream, Nightmare, Night Terror, and Custom.

The hints and skips are adjustable to your liking and skills (15-90 seconds). You receive a map and a strategy guide from the very beginning of the game to help you find your way through the game's mysterious events.

The gameplay is more on the easy side, especially the mini-games. They vary in type providing you with a wide range of puzzles. The hidden object scenes are mostly lists of items. Though you will stumble upon some multi-step ones, too.

There are the usual Collector's Edition components. You get to earn 12 achievements, find 37 collectible moons that are very easy to locate, and 37 morphing objects. Then you also get all the usual media extras, like wallpaper and music.

It is a hidden object puzzle adventure game with a dark story and an interesting gameplay.
