Strange Cases: The Faces of Vengeance
Strange Cases: The Faces of Vengeance is another release in the game series, but you do not have to go back and play the previous one (if you haven't yet) in order to be familiar with the characters or the plot.
The game play is a bit disappointing, but in no way is it bad. You would expect more these days, I think.

You are to play as an FBI agent, Claire Ellery, who is now challenged to find a missing girl, Anna. The kidnapper seems to be very smart and careful. They only leave some hints or clues staying a few steps ahead and watching your every move. You will have to ultimately win the battle using all of your experience.
The graphics of the game are very well done with a lot of details. The voice overs and sounds are excellent all together creating this dark and gloomy atmosphere.

The game play is a bit disappointing, but in no way is it bad. You would expect more these days, I think. There are three modes to choose from. There's a great amount of hidden object scenes. All of them are interactive and different in the way you are to look for items.
The mini-games are more entertaining. Some of them are fresh kinds of puzzles. The hint/skip button takes quite a while to recharge. And it is not really helpful outside of the hidden object scenes.
All in all the game stands quite strong among all the games of this genre out there. A few ore twists would bring it to the top of it, though.
