Both characters are set to win the company for themselves. So don't think that it's going to be easy for you. The company will belong to the one who will be more successful in running it for a while.
The rules of how it all works are quickly given to you by the same person who read the will. This man gives a short tutorial before you are free to manage things the way you want.

The company is a huge resort consisting of many small buildings and restaurants. You are serponsible for building new living spaces, eating places, and entertainments.
But building is not the only thing that you do. As a good manager you are to make many decisions on improving your resort. That will include deciding when it is the best time for upgrading, renovating, selling or buying.
Each levels sets certain goals before you. You can usually see them in the upper right corner. The game is timed, so prepare to make quick decisions.

Building or doing almost anything else with the buildings includes workers and requires materials. Those need to be hired and bought. But they don't cost that much.
So slowly level by level you get through the game and you develop your resort into a big nice place for some relaxation and fun.
The game is bright and attractive with the sounds that do not irritate.
