You know how meeting with your former class mates is often awkward and uncomfortable? But in Surface: Return to Another World Collector's Edition, you don't just meet with someone from the past, you have to stop them from destroying your whole hometown.

A map and a strategy guide are available for you as you find your way through the game.

You rush ot your hometown of Lightfalls after a disturbing call from your mom. Right at the beginning of your investigation you learn that there is a strange device coming out of the local lake. It seems that this device is responcible (or the one behind it) for people disappearing in the town.

Then you learn that a boy from your childhood is behind this and he has no intention to stop his evil plan. You will have to be the one to stop him before it is too late. And to do that you will have to go as far as the world underneath that very lake. The morale of the story: bullying never leads to anything good.

The graphics of the game are pretty decent with a few exceptions that seem to be a bit far from crisp and clear. 

The game play is full of all kinds of searching and tasks for your brain. The puzzles outnumber the hidden object scenes. HOS vary in the very you get lists, some of them are not lists at all, but words in bold in some sort of narrative.

The puzzles are mostly not very difficult except for a few of them. It also depends on your skills and on the mode that you choose out of four available including the customizable one.

You have to focus on puzzles and hidden objects, but don't forget about collectibles! You get to collect well over 100 of flowers and mysterious creatures. Which sounds like a lot even for six plus one chapters.

There are also quite a few achievements some of which revolve around the collectibles. The collectible edition gives you a bonus chapter and a lot of other extras to download, like music, wallpaper, and artwork. The puzzles and hidden object scenes are replaybale. A map and a strategy guide are available for you as you find your way through the game.
