System Mania - Check Your Reflexes!
PI EYE Games offer you to try their new game System Mania - a release with a unique game
play which is bound to find its fans, though some of you might not appreciate the mechanics.
Fix it all now, until it blows up! Are you ready? Go!
The story of the game is the usual story of success characteristic of the time-management
genre. You will act as Fiona, a young girl and an ex-employee of Mount Shine Space Agency.
Now she decides to open her own tech support shop, and, surely, the game begins. Welcome to
Fiona's Fix-It Shop!
As you might understand it's all the same - you have customers to serve and profit to earn.
But here you have one customer per level. Or even one customer for several levels, if he has
more than one task for you. And in each level you will have to fix a certain device. Be
ready to encounter such unhacked apparatuses like Biscuit Shaper, Pastry Brake or Elephant
Wash.
The process of fixing the appliances is rather simple but challenging. You'll have to turn
off red lights before they blow up. The playfield is a set of buttons, switches, sliders,
wheels, pull cords, etc. They glow red from time to time in a manner that seems to employ no
system at all. Your task is to turn off the red lights during the time limit and not let a
single one of them blow up. That's quite a challenge, for some of them turn on
simultaneously and you have very short time to react. In order to pervent the explosion you
have to take certain actions with each of the lights. If it's a button - just click on it. A
switcher - drag it to the direction of the red light, a wheel - rotate it, etc.
There are also some conveyor belt levels, when all the elements move along the screen and
you have to act while they are there.
Throughout the whole level you have a possibility to earn various bonuses, but the task is
not at all easy, for they appear in the form of coins for you to catch while they fall.
Between levels you can buy upgrades - up to three for level - which can be used only once,
so after each level you can replenish the stock.
Besides the story you can also try System Mania in Arcade Mode or Tricky Mode - and be sure
that your reaction is good enough!
