The Mysterious City: Cairo - Enjoyable Experience
The Mysterious City: Cairo is a sequel of The Mysterious City: Golden Prague. The game takes us to a journey to Egypt. It's not like we, hidden object game fans, haven't been there before in other games, but it is still different and it is what the developers offer us.
The game won't disappoint you even though the locations look way familiar for the friquent gamers. The story isn't something thrilling too.
You are to track down three artifacts that got lost on their way to a musium in Alexandria. That's pretty much all about the story.
The gaming part is a great example of what a hidden object genre is - variety of hidden object levels, mini-games, timer and a relaxed mode for those who are not quick enough.
The game is divided into 7 days of your investigation. Every day you will play different hidden object games.
You are to search for the items using the list of eitherwords or sillhouettes. The third option is finding the differences in beetween the pictures.
Don't think that it will be easy. The scenes are very clattered and some of the words (like atrifact) or sillhouettes (like a square or a circle) are not that clear.
The mini-games are represented by jigsaw puzzles. Don't expect those to be easy too. The pieces get more in quantaty and smaller in size as you advance through the game.
There are hints for your help but they cost two minutes off your time. That may seem not that much but you have only 45 minutes for a day which is 8 games.
The Mysterious City: Cairo really is a good game both for the new to the genre and for the well familiar with it.
