The Promised Land
The origin of the term the promised land goes back to the ancient times when a nation was promised a land with farms and houses that they did not build. But they still had to concuer the land. In The Promised Land you also have to work to create a thriving colony.
There is a mini game to play if you get tired of this routine work.

So you are a part of this group of settlers who are trying to tame the new land they arrived to. This means that you have to start from nothing. You will have lots of work to do. The tasks for you here are simillar to those of many games of this genre.
The audio-visual part of the game is quite matching the story. The graphics are bright and friendly. And the music is energetic and lively.

You start with 5 apprentices - each of them loves to do different jobs - if you stick them in a job they hate, they get 'ill' quickly and have to go to the hospital to eat healing herbs. Then after you have more money, you can buy more apprentices to work in the forge, laboratory, kitchen , and other places and also get them to gather food and chop down trees.
There is a mini game to play if you get tired of this routine work. It is simple but fun. It is almost like Angry Birds but you have to kill pirates here instead.
The game is fun and challenging to keep you playing to the end of it.
