The Sultan's Labyrinth - a quest for love
Seven Sails and BrutoMemo Entertainment invite you to The Sultan's Labyrinth, a place where only the bravest and cleverest can survive! This game is a quite addictive combination of diverse puzzle game play and mysterious Oriental environment.
Sultan Bahar has decided to get his daughter, the beautiful Princess Sadira, married. Moreover, he has decided to choose a successor for himself, the one who will rule his
country after him!
This is a perfect chance for Prince Tallis (that is you, right), who is in love with the Princess and wishes to win her love. He is ready to enter the Sultan's Labyrinth full of
dangers and mysteries. If he manages to pass all the tests and go through the Labyrinth, he will get the Princess's hand and the kingdom. If not - his faith will be miserable... But the courageous Prince is determined to fulfill all the tasks and come out victorious of all the challenges. All he needs is your help. That simple.
There is nothing much to tell about the story, except that it evolves through the whole game, giving you a more comprehensive vision of the characters and their relations. But let us dwell a bit more on the game play. As you have already understood, the game represents a collection of different puzzle tasks, some of them very easy and some really challenging. The Sultan's Labyrinth consists of 26 rooms with 3 levels each. Each room, or stage, features a different set of puzzles. Some of the levels are classic hidden object tasks with silhouettes of objects to find, in some you need to look for identical paired objects, and some will require you to look for 20 objects of the same type or to spot differences between two pictures. But besides hidden object levels you will encounter other puzzles, like jigsaw or matching shadow with the real object.
Tip: be very attentive when matching shadows and remember the locations of shapes are interchanged after each attempt, so can't just try all of them one by one.
After you have found all hidden objects in a room you are usually asked to fulfill some
quest-type tasks to open the door and find the way to the next room. All you need to do is look closer and read tips for each item carefully. Provided this everything is rather easy.
While playing you don't get any speed bonus, which may be disappointing, but it is compensated by the fact that you also get no penalty for multiple wrong clicks and you have no time limit, so you may take your time. If you get stuck, you may use hints - there are three per level, and no additional ones, so try to manage them wisely.
As for the graphics, it is rather beautiful, though maybe a bit too rough, and it creates a real Oriental atmosphere. That's a great change compared with all the detective and food hidden object games. The sound is also a great match.
So, dare you enter The Sultan's Labyrinth?
