The Treasures of Mystery Island - New Hidden Object Experience

The hidden object game genre is being so popular and at the same time so full of every possible story or challenge or puzzle, just takes the developers to add some innovations to their new releases. If they want their creations to be one of a kind in a heap of all these items-to-find and mysteries-to-solve.

And I should say Five-BN and Alawar Entertainment did their job (in the above mentioned context) very well. The game does stand out and makes you play just a little more.

The hidden object part of the game is presented in a quite unusual for the genre way.

The story gets you to be a guy who takes special cargo to the clients on his plane. But it suddenly crushes leaving him on an island. Then the story tells you that our guy has a girlfriend, and they both work in one compony with the girl's mom as a boss.

What he has to do now is to find all the things lost in the crash to get them finally to the clients and to get out of the island.

The island is not isolated. He meets a tribe elder right away and later a shaman. This guys help him find his way back home.

The story is ok and the audio-visuals too with all the animated scenes, but the real attraction is the gameplay.

From the very first level you realize that the game is not what you used to. You get several locations at the sme time. And you are also give a row of things you are to find in those locations.

The things on the list are shown as images and they are hidden by pieces they are broken into. So you collect a vase, for example, by finding pieces of it scattered all over the place. And the same is with every item on the list. The lists are not that big like 4 or 5 items.

Once you collected all the pieces of any item it goes directly to your inventory. Now how you should use it.

There are special spots or things on the scenes that get highlighted once you drag a cursor over them. It means that you can and should use something from your inventory there. Only after that the level is finished.

There are also mini-games with Cards that represent absolutely different people. You are given a card with a picture of a sherif, for example, and you should find all of the items that have to do with him somehow. There can also be different mini-games that serve a great break from your intense search.

All in all the game does offer something fresh and exciting which is laways a good thing for a new release as well as for the gamers.
